| Reporting to the Newark campus Provost through the Director of Business Services Office, the Newark Grants Office is the post award office at this campus. Once a grant or contract has been executed, this office handles the financial management of these awards working collaboratively with the PIs and the business person charged with the daily management of the award.

We are a busy and growing office as our numbers in the annual report shows.

We work very closely with the Division of Grants and Contract Office, http://postaward.rutgers.edu. As a matter of practice, the first point of contact
concerning any grant and contract issues should be addressed to the Manager of
Newark Grants Office from the research community at Newark. Contact information is listed above. Some of the other offices NGO works with very closely are:

*The Research Office assists faculty and staff with pre-award advisement, information on internal procedures, guideline interpretation, assistance with agency compliance regulations, and proposal budget preparation. They can be reached at 973/353-1537.

*The Office of Corporate Liaison and Technology Transfer, (OCLTT), http://ocltt.rutgers.edu or call 732/932-0115. In post grants administration, they oversee all aspects of the protection and licensing of intellectual property.

*The Office of Research and Sponsored Program (ORSP), http://orsp.rutgers.edu at 732/932-0150. They advise and assist members of the Rutgers community who are engaged in scholarly and creative activities.

*The Rutgers Foundation at http://support.rutgers.edu or 732/932-8808 supports Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, by reaching out to individuals, corporations, and foundations and linking them to Rutgers programs throughout New Jersey and the world.
